The day HRH The Prince of Wales, now King Charles III, came to the GrEEK Campus to meet ten Egyptian startups. Flat6Labs’ StartEgypt Annual Forum, designed, built, run and filmed by us.

A launch by the sea. On the evening of 6 September 2023, Suzuki introduced three new cars in Egypt, the Grand Vitara, the Fronx and the S-Presso automatic, on the Galala seafront: an LED stage, an entrance arch, car displays and a photo booth, all in the open air.

A yellow gate, a stage under the museum's glass roof, and twelve startups with a few minutes each to make their case. We drew it, built it, ran it and filmed it.

A walk through Konica Minolta's history, a ballroom full of people who print for a living, and the new press running in front of them. Infinity launched the AccurioPress New Series at Le Méridien Cairo Airport. We designed it, built it, ran it and filmed it.

A golden statue in a garden, a word in lights by the water, and a red carpet for a pharma team's big night. Drawn first, then built piece by piece at Le Lac du Caire.

Ten startups, each with its own podium carrying its own name. We turned a university courtyard into a pitch stage, from the drawing to the cheque handover.

More than 700 employees and guests. Before any of them arrived, there was a welcome desk, a photo booth, a ballroom and a pile of tote bags waiting to be handed out. We planned it, built it, ran it and shot it.

Ministers, ambassadors and delegations from more than thirty countries, a panel, an agreement signed in the room, and a wall of African flags behind them. The first Africa Investment Day held in Egypt, built and run end to end.

70 exhibitors, ten days’ notice. A two-day crafts bazaar for GIZ Egypt’s migration programme at Gezira Sporting Club, visited by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and more than 50 ambassadors and consuls.

The Demo Day in Egypt for the Green Growth and Jobs Accelerator (GGJAP): green startups on stage, investors at the tables and a group photo to close. We ran the whole event for Flat6Labs, from setting up the hall and registration to the last frame of the recap film.

The closing night of the Green Growth and Jobs Accelerator: a cohort of green startups, a panel on how funds evaluate small businesses, pitches under the trees, and one-to-one meetings with investors afterwards. Flat6Labs ran the programme with UNDP and the Danish-Arab Partnership Programme.

CMB celebrated Ramadan with its customers in a garden looking out at the Pyramids, under the line “Lammetna ahla fi Ramadan”. We photographed the evening from the setup in daylight to the speeches on stage after dark.

Four days with EDSIC 2026, in two films and a run of reels: an opening film built on the voices of the people who run it, reels during the days, and a closing film that ends with "see you next year".

A corporate film for Orthomed-E, the maker of orthopaedic implants: the building, the machine floor, the lab and the people who run them. Then the products on their own, shot close: screws, plates and nails as they come off the line.
AutofitFilms2024
A product film for Autofit dental implants, from the metal on the lathe to the implant in its box. We spent two days at the factory in May 2024. The edit moves from the machines to the product, so a dentist sees how the implant is made before seeing it in the box.

A short drama for Flat6Labs' StartMashreq programme. A father typing late at the dining table beside his sleeping child. A mother cooking while her daughter does homework, foil trays stacked for the day's orders. A designer at her mannequin. And one email on a phone: you've been accepted.

StartMashreq's first demo day, on an open-air terrace with stone walls and a view over the hills. Guests came in under the yellow "المشرق يبدأ" gate, founders pitched in front of the LED wall, and the day closed at sunset. We filmed it for Flat6Labs.

Ahli United Bank took its summer to the beach on the North Coast: branded cabanas, a swing by the sea and a team on the sand. We photographed the activation in full daylight, so the bank’s colours stayed true in full sun.

We photographed the Marmox showroom the way a visitor sees it: the materials up close, the spaces in full, and the lighting as it was designed. We took each corner on its own: the mosaic wall, the Slicestone display, the steam room, the shower trays and the stone walls.

In May 2022, Ahli United Bank Egypt signed an EGP 143 million financing agreement with Somabay to renew the Sheraton Soma Bay resort on the Red Sea, and we photographed the ceremony from the dressed table to the last handshake.

We photographed Flat6Labs at its offices: the spaces, the teams at work, and founders at their desks and out in the garden. We worked with the light the rooms already had and left people where they were: a meeting on the sofa, a founder at his laptop, a team on the terrace.

ITIDA's second Freelancers Meet-Up: an evening in a palace garden for Egypt's freelancers, with a curved wall of screens, a panel in white armchairs, and rows of coloured poufs filling up as the sun went down. We filmed it.

The Intilaaqah programme went on the road with Flat6Labs in November 2025: one day in Damanhour, one in Alexandria. Training rooms full of young founders, trainers at the front, and a wall of sticky notes that kept growing through the day. We filmed both days and made a film for each city.
