StartEgypt Annual Forum 2021
The day HRH The Prince of Wales, now King Charles III, came to the GrEEK Campus to meet ten Egyptian startups. Flat6Labs’ StartEgypt Annual Forum, designed, built, run and filmed by us.
- Venue
- The GrEEK Campus, Downtown Cairo
- Year
- 2021
Demo days and startup events
StartEgypt’s third annual forum closed a year of incubation in Cairo, Asyut and Alexandria. Flat6Labs wanted the day to work for founders, investors and press, and to be ready for senior international guests, including a visit by HRH The Prince of Wales, now King Charles III.
A day like this runs on two clocks at once: the programme the founders prepared for, and the requirements of the visiting delegation's teams. Both had to run to the minute, side by side.
The build
We designed the space, built it, ran it on the day, and photographed and filmed it. Everything around the visit followed the requirements set by Flat6Labs and the visiting delegation's teams.
On the day
On 19 November 2021, Egypt's startups got an international stage, and Flat6Labs got a day that ran the way it was planned.
