A short drama for Flat6Labs' StartMashreq programme. A father typing late at the dining table beside his sleeping child. A mother cooking while her daughter does homework, foil trays stacked for the day's orders. A designer at her mannequin. And one email on a phone: you've been accepted.

The challenge: about two minutes to show what the programme means to the people it is for, told through their homes, their late hours and their work. The founders lead the film, and the programme arrives as one message on a phone.
We filmed it as a short drama in real homes: a kitchen, a dining room, a small studio with sketches pinned to the wall. Each person gets a few seconds of their ordinary day, a lamp left on, a pot on the stove, a pencil on paper, before the acceptance email lands. We lit the rooms softly, the way they look in the evening, kept the camera at the height of the table, and graded it warm. Then we edited it into one short film for the programme's channels.
