StartMashreq First Demo Day film
StartMashreq's first demo day, on an open-air terrace with stone walls and a view over the hills. Guests came in under the yellow "المشرق يبدأ" gate, founders pitched in front of the LED wall, and the day closed at sunset. We filmed it for Flat6Labs.

The challenge: a first edition, a single day, and a film the programme would keep showing for the rest of the year. It had to carry who came, who pitched, and how the terrace felt from midday to dusk.
We started with the venue still empty: rows of black velvet chairs, the truss and lights in place, the city spread out below. Then the arrivals through the gate, the pitches, the panel on stage, and an audience leaning in to listen. As the light dropped, we filmed a piece to camera against the programme's wall, with the sky turning blue behind it. We edited it into one event film that runs from the morning setup to the group photo on stage.
